On February 8th, BE100 members, family and friends all participated in a fun filled day at the Santa Anita Park located in Arcadia, California. A full day of live horse races was held in one of the most beautiful race tracks in the United States. Home to numerous prestigious races that includes the Santa Anita Derby, as well as hosting the Breeders' Cup.
In the golden days of Hollywood, races attracted such known stars as Betty Grable, Lana Turner, Jane Russell, Cary Grant, Esther Williams, Bing Crosby, Joe E. Brown and Al Jolson. The most notable celebrity was "Seabiscuit", a small horse who became an unlikely champion and a symbol of hope during the Great Depression.
BE100 members and guests enjoyed learning the odds as well as the excitement of live race betting while enjoying a delicious brunch on the reserved terrace overlooking the race track below. There were even some lucky members that day!
